Pre-ordered it, and got it one day before release day!

The online features won’t work yet though, so I assume they will tomorrow.

Either way, it’s a great game!

write a variable-width text loader for the Sega Genesis

I’ve never seen any Genesis game that uses variable-width text, and I can see why: it takes a damn lot of effort to program such a thing. However, today I managed to pull this off in Project Nanako, a homebrew game I’m working on. I’ll still be using fixed-width text for a lot of things due to speed and VRAM restrictions, but there are still several things I can use nice variable-width for.
