I found my missing father about 14 years ago when I was 19. I met him and it was an interesting experience. It helped resolve a lot of issues I had and a lot of questions. We still keep in touch, but not as much as we would have it he had raised me or had known me growing up. It’s still weird when he calls me son, but at least now he makes an effort to call me, instead of me calling him.

Training started 2 days ago

Monday I decided to run a marathon…in a year. I got fitted out for some new running shoes, I got a trainer, and I have a year. This is something I feel I need to do. I’ve set a goal and have the tools to get it done. I’ve already started my running and so I’m on my way. I will probably blog about this on my site more.

Since I put this goal down, I have gone camping. But I’m keeping it up because I should go more. Maybe this Feb I can get a few people to go with me.
