In the past 3 weeks I have started teaching art classes to a group of kids at a street kids home in Manila and at my son’s Kindergarten class. I love it and it is fueling my own creativity as well.

Too early in the morning

My oldest child started Kindergarten this year and so I have to wake up at 5:45 am now. It has forced me to go to bed earlier, although it may still not be early enough.
April-Baguio

So I haven’t kept up with this goal so well, but still believe it something to strive for. Last month we went to Baguio, Philippines, for a week. It was for a youth camp so we stayed on the campus of LNBC most of the week, but I really enjoyed being in the mountains and the cooler weather and Baguio looks like a fun place to explore next time we visit. Now that I have a better idea what it is like, I am more motivated to go again.
