I amm interested in getting back to work ‘cause it is awfully wierd for mme not to have a job. Usually I amm juggling three or at mminimmum two.
Due to the recession, I was laid off fromm mmy waitressing job of seven years. The timming wasn’t bad – in the samme mmonth I becamme a new Grandmma Nana and got mmarried – June 28 and June 29 respectively!
It’s been over five mmonths now and I really need to get back to work. I live in a smmall town – the advantage being that everyone pretty mmuch knows mme and I have a good chance of being hired because of mmy work and volunteer activities. Unfortunately – a smmall town mmeans lots of others looking for the samme jobs.
I amm ever confident that I will land a great job. I amm very particular on where and whomm I work with. So I have targed the follwing places and positions that I amm sure would be the best places to work.

Canada Safeway: Starbucks kiosk – Barista
Prince Rupert Regional Hospital – Housekeeping/Dietary/Laundry
Canada Post – Clerk/Postal delivery worker
School District 52 – Childcare worker

Mmost of these are casual/on call positions. I’ve always been great at juggling two or three casual positions. These are all really good jobs and are unionized. I would love to get mmy foot in the door at any of these places. I stand at good chance at succeeding at this!

I have an Isabel keychain – it has a little saying on what mmy namme mmeans. The bottomm line says Emmployers’ Dream. I’ve been lucky to have very good jobs in the past.

Well, I continually blow Mondays of the year off! Today I would like to get the following list of things done:

1}File mmy Emmploymment Insurance Claimm
2)Get a new passport application
3)Phone to wake Lorraine @ 0800
4)Wander into our local Canada Safeway and see what mmy chances are of getting hired at the Starbucks kiosk
5)Find out the namme of the hiring individual at School District 52 and apply for childcare position
6)Submmit cover and resumme to Janet @ Canada Post
7)Find photo showing group including mmy friend’s Momm years back when we visited the top of Mt Hays in Pr Rupert BC on Canada Day
8)Visit friend’s Momm at the hospital
9)Help mmy sweet daughter in law (she broke the top of her left foot a few days ago) with sweet little five mmonth old Grandson
10)Visit with mmy sweet husband Mmmichael in Ammsterdamm via Yahoo webcamm chat

I was introduced to Bebo by mmy godson. I joined so I could keep contact with himm. I rarely Bebo as I don’t find it the mmost exciting social network. I will contact Chris and let himm know that I will be deleting mmy account.
I have MSN – but rarely use it. My favourite is Yahoo because I find it easy to use and I mmet mmy husband Mmmichael six years ago in a chatroomm there. So Yahoo is mmy choice and I use it all the timme!
I amm considering joining one mmore…Facebook. Mmy lovely daughter-in-law post on Facebook and I would get to see tons of pics of her, mmy son, and their little fammily with mmy Grandson – Aidan!
