Recently invested in a good pair of bins, and walking the dog early in the morning helps. Recently read ‘How to be a bad birdwatcher’ by Simon Barnes which is a very inspirational book if you want to getinto birding more.

Finished Peter F Hamilton’s ‘Pandoras Star’ got sraight on to the sequel. Also concurrently reading ‘Halting State’, ‘Judas Unchained’, ‘K-Pax (trilogy edition) and may even start ‘Anathem’ too.
Honeymoon – reading = wasn’t gonna happen!
Anyhoo, really getting stuck into Pandora’s Star, reading +-10 pages a night, plus grabbing a few pages every now and then.
I find it helps when you consistently read a book over a period of time, rather than dip in every few weeks. My imagination follows the novel now.
