I took a class at a local circus arts school that included static (not flying) trapeze. By the end of the class, I had learned enough to perform in a short routine in the school’s showcase. It was a wonderful time! It was empowering, strength-building, inspiring, and just plain fun. I’ve since continued circus classes. I’d recommend trying it to absolutely anyone.

How I did it: I checked their site and joined the "Cirque Club" to sign up for notifications of when they're going to be in my area. You probably think of them being too expensive and only in Vegas and Orlando, but you'd be wrong on both accounts. They have multiple shows that are touring all the time. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was trying and trying to just "sit up straighter", but I eventually realized I had let my posture get so bad that I literally couldn't sit up straight. I got a series of deep tissue massages which, although definitely not the most pleasant experience, definitely made a WORLD of difference. I had all sorts of muscles that were shortened or tightened which were keeping me from holding my body normally. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I found a provider my insurance covered using their website and took the first step just to get a consultation. They do this a lot so it was easy peasy from there on out. The office practically does the rest for you. Read how I did it…
