How I love my Dogs.
The are my unjudgemental friends who are always happy to see me and share their joy with me
Sometimes I think they angels that move amidst us and keep watch over our lives.
That cold nose in my ear everymorning that says get out of bed I need to go out I love.
They are such good friends and they are never critical

I discovered today that after 50 years of zooming around the sun I have actually learn’t some life skills that are worthwhile.
The ability to get a task whatever be it at the office or just washing the dishes and see that it needs to be broken down in my mind into small pieces.
That way of thinking about it makes it fun and it just works like putting a puzzel together
When I am slow in starting a task I remind myself of this and I simply lay our each step in my mind and then simply start by taking the first step.
Today I realised that no matter how mad I get with my partner sometimes, we have a special bond and a wonderful family we both share, I love her kids and she loves mine and together we have created a haven of love.
The things that make me mad are sometime the fact that we have so little time for each other because our children and grandchild make demands on our time, but in the end it is them that add the beauty and joy in each day.
To see the world through our 4 year old Granddaughters eyes is to be young all over again. Our children keep us young and our family is our gift to each other.
And that is what I am thankful for today.
