How I did it: spoke to my school's study abroad program, picked the country and school i wanted to go to. the filled applications and waited for a reply. upon acceptance, i worked out flights details and so forth.researching the school and the surrounding area is important. also finding out if you school transfers credits, if you can take courses for your major, cost, etc, etc.but its a great experience and totally worth it!
