How I did it: Hard work, dedication, lots of hours spent in the library!!!I worked full time (40 hours) and went to school full-time (17 credit hours) so I had very little time for anything else. If I had free time, it was spent studying. That was the key!only 7 years left to go! Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took me a year- but I finally made it home! There have been times since I left that I have thought "it would be so much easier just to move back home." Trying to start a new life is hard, and has many ups and downs. Going home helped me to realize why I am doing what I am-- and that I am going to be a better person because of it. I was glad to see my family--- but I am thankful to be back in my -new- home and living my new life. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Quite frankly- I just stopped drinking soda. I hadn't realized that I'd lost the weight. People kept telling me I looked thinner... but I didn't see it. I am sure that working and going to school [both full time] helped to keep me from eating as much as normal, and that added to the weight loss. I'm not even really sure when I dropped the weight. I just know that I weighed myself at Christmas- and voila! under 115. Read how I did it…

I am going to be home in around 10 days. I am super excited. My family does not know I am coming; it’s going to be a surprise. I’ve told all but 1 of my friends [surprise for her too…] and have some good plans. I cannot WAIT to see everyone again—and just be back; I know it will help me appreciate where I am now.
