I did it for a while, not exhaustively just to get a taste. The selections were kind of random, but I enjoyed most of them.

i’ll be done by june. fucking radical.
UPDATE: i was done by january!!
i’m doing it in order to quit putting them off til people will watch with me. i’ve seen 89, so i have quite a few to go! It seems like i’ll be caught up to the current list between March ‘09 and December ‘14! Of course they will have released hundreds more by then…
This weekend was Grand Illusion, Walkabout
Coming Umberto D. and 8 1/2.
I’m watching some over again if it’s been so long I can’t remember anything about it.
did orientation, more than a year later! dang!
so much more training required… it will be a slow process, but worth it i’m sure
my uncle is visiting the uncle who made the book originally…. says he’ll ask him to mail it to me! exciting
i should have known i’d have more pressing things to do. i feel bad, i totally took an address and didn’t send a postcard to this poor guy in brazil! then they kicked me off for not being more active. think i’ll stick to postcarding with people i know, although i’ll miss the best part of it – seeing how languages i don’t know look… maybe i’ll assume another fake id and start it up again one day.
i sort of did it. not as thoroughly as i would have liked, and i have no time to continue, but hopefully some day
The first try was terrible, but i immediately tried again and got it. It was a pretty plain white loaf, but I wanted to see how it turned out without too many variables. What I really want to learn is sourdough.
The SCAGS are currently watching ROME tv series. I am also playing Rome: Total War and reading Livy’s early history. SCAGS activities are pretty well covered in September 06.
appointment on tuesday. i’m bored with the dentist. It really is unfortunate to have to pay extraordinary sums for such unpleasant experiences.
this is harder to set up than i would have imagined. i’ve been waiting 2+ weeks for a phone call and since the person doesn’t leave messages as a rule, i have no way of knowing if i missed this call… my fantasy is an extremely organized and efficient volunteer experience! Sadly I have yet to come across an organization that actually knows how to make the best of people who volunteer, though I know its not necessarily anyone’s fault. Anyway, i hope to have some time to help out at this place before schoolwork takes over my whole existence…
