Note to Self

I posted the following on the goal ‘journal regularly’ last year, to remind myself:

I want to write a proper entry (not just a todo list), not everyday, but often. I want to write about what I did that day, my thoughts, feelings, things that annoyed/upset me, things that made me happy, ‘morale’ for that day and general obervations. I want to include pictures, tickets etc. The entries don’t have to be long. I should encourage myself to write even when I don’t have much to say, but this is not necessary.

If I type my entry on computer, I should print it out as soon as possible, so I don’t add to the large number of entries not printed.

I might combine my other ‘diaries’ and use a different colour pen, or make a different colour border around each section. I could even cut out and stick in pages from smaller notebooks. Notebooks that aren’t for a journalling/recording purpose, but are for reffering back to, should be kept separate.

I might decorate it as well, and padlock it. Perhaps I could wear the key on a necklace or bracelet, or put it in a locket?

I made an account on freerice.com ages ago (makes it easier to track how much I’ve donated). Although I did use the website before, I’m going to use the count on my profile. My count before writing this entry was 3670, I’ve just added 500 to make it 4170.



brush my teeth twice a day EVERY day (read all 2 entries…)
Haven't Been Doing Well

I haven’t brushed my teeth twice on any day so far. I forget in the morning and then realise and think the whole day is blown. I think it would be better to start by just aiming for (at least) once every day.
