I got so far with this (9 months in, only 3 days skipped), only to get sick (and landed in the hospital) and have to give up. (and consequently forget about it) But, it’s nearly 6 months later now, I’ve bought a nice new camera and I’ll see about starting again – probably the start of spring or the last day of school or something… buy myself a bit of time….

How I did it: There's one day a week I'm free from obligations; no school, no band practice, no weekend grocery shopping... and that's thursday, so the day was easily chosen. We settled in at 8 AM in the morning and had breakfast in front of the telly. After the third movie we took an hour off, so I could pick up my new passport and do some last minute snack food-shopping. Then it was back home for movies 4-6, which we finished around 11 PM.Not to bad, eh? Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've made bags before, so I know the drill a bit; This bag was all about the design... My 3D teacher/class asked for "a form you can carry on your body, which says something about your body." So I decided to bring my insides out and show off the bone structure of a female pelvis (now do you recognize it?) and to make it all a bit more artsy I stapled on a ribbon to symbolize my scar (appendicitis...).The picture is rather Low-Q, but it'll… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I decided to dress up as Jiminy Cricket in the end, because the first thing I actually bought while looking to throw together a costume, was a top hat like his: Blue with a red band. (I found it at a party/joke shop.)Brown trousers were easy enough (though I did make them myself) and for his vest I decided to simply sow a large yellow "button" on a sleeveless top - I had to wear the costume for the largest part of a fairly hot day. Togeth… Read how I did it…

I know I’ve said this before (and then it backfired on me), but I’m closing in on completion here! I’ve got 2 nice bits lined up, both fit to be a chorus, so I just have to choose and form one of them into a verse (stretch it or something) – figure out that one problem-chord – write the rest of the lyrics (they never were the problem anyway) – and then polish it up nicely and make a demo recording.
I feel so proud :P
I should’ve completed this goal a long time ago! damn, I don’t now how come I haven’t….
I’ll see about buying a nice plain black tee in the next couple of weeks and put one of my designs (‘I am the walrus’ or ‘She looks more like him than I do’) on the list for my presentation/exhibit in 8 weeks time. That should make me worry enough to finish it already…
