How I did it: The best thing to do is to practice a lot, give talks whenever you have a chance, make sure you do ample preparation, and take propanolol before hand to settle the nerves a little bit. Don't think im someone who will ever really enjoy giving large talks, but its definitely doable for me now Read how I did it…
How I did it: studied for a couple hours most nights until about a week before the exam, when i began to do more. used supermemo, mksap, usmle, and step-up. didnt do a huge amount of supermemo till near the end, up until then kept burden under 50. after all this got a 92, which was about 2.5 standard deviations over the national average and well above the cut-off for honors. How I did it: tapering down didnt work. just had to quit cold turkey. eating candy seemed to help with the cravings. basically its just a pain in the ass for awhile and then it starts to get better. you just have to resolve not to do it anymore.update:feeling better about it the longer i go without itupdate: also has required a lot of nicotine gum Read how I did it…
