goal: fold 1000 paper cranes of all different colours, styles, sizes, and mediums, string them all together, hang up in the cancer ward at the hospital.
The story of Sadako Sasaki is an inspiring one of friendship, love, and loss. The Japanese story that 1000 paper cranes can grant a wish inspired me to follow through with this task. Cancer doesn’t target race, size, shape, or appearance. It can happen to anyone at anytime. I wish that it didn’t have to be this way.

honesty is truly a virtue.
Lying is the easy way out sometimes…many times it seems.
Although when I look back and see how many people I have been dishonest with… it disgusts me.
I have become so accustomed to lying in situations that it comes so naturally, that I don’t even realize it as it comes out of my mouth.
I am making a whole-hearted commitment into being more honest.
