I find the company I keep (mainly from work) is so very intrested on the next gadget or the next bigger house or a bigger/faster car and to be honest I have to admit I like them all, but I do realize that they do not give you any long term happiness.
I need to find re-inforcement for the values I treasure: family, true friends, making a real positive difference in peoples lifes…
I need help to find the right social circle

I’m great a starting things but pretty poor in the follow through. I’ve decided that I have to focus on a few key things in my life:
1. get fit and stay fit, i.e. eat healthy and exercise regularly. I want to get to 170 pounds and have a toned but not bulky body
2. learn spanish, cause I know I will eventually spend a lot of time in Latin America and cause my girlfriend is a latina, it will help me understand her culture.
3. learn to sail well. The eventual goal is to own a sailing boat(s) in the Caribbean/Latin America as a business.
i’ve volunteered at a film festival featuring documentaries on global issues – independent films are a passion of mine. the volunteering and the films have been a real eye opener… there are so many amazing people out there… somehow this experience makes me feel more in touch with the world we live in.
