YES!!! – finally was able to refinance the house and pay off an especially bad credit card. I say bad, because I used it to pay my bills several years ago in order to survive. Guess it was good for something….like keeping me from bankruptcy. But let me tell you, I am so glad to have this monkey off my back!! Woo hoo! Only one more card to go :D

Paid 2 off, now just 2 more to go. Of course, I had to give up something…....my partnership in a restaurant. But tough times call for extreme measures. I think we can survive without the free meals. Better than losing the house, right?
Well, I started out in the master’s program not by my choice but the State of Michigan LOL. They require all teachers (which I am) to get 18 credits in the first 6 years of receiving their certification, which I did, just 3 days before my first child was born (talk about cutting it close!)
So I was halfway to a Master’s in Early Childhood, but then 3 kids later, I’ve only been able to fit 2 more grad classes in…..sigh. Now my 18 credits have expired, can’t use them towards a Master’s Degree, so I get to start from square one.
I originally was going to get my Master’s in Counseling…......follow in the footsteps of my dad, who ended up being a Guidance Counselor after a full teaching career. Plus I have a habit of analyzing people haha. They are continually fascinating to me.
Now I’m leaning more towards Library Science. Hmmmmmmmm…...
