I weighed myself this morning, and I’ve lost my first 5 lbs! I’m really happy with myself right now.
This past week I went on a snowboarding trip, so that really helped me shed the last little bit of weight. I’ve definitely gained a lot of muscle in my legs, so despite that I still lost weight :).
Now I’m on to the next 5 lbs. My new goal is 145.6.
I weighed myself this morning, and I’d lost 4 lbs!!
I’ve been taking my brother’s very simple advice (he’s a trainer, and I tend to complicate things for myself)to just run for 45 minutes 3 – 4 days a week, and get some strength training 2 days a week. Just one more to go until I reach this short term goal. Then it’s on to another 5! Wooo!
Also what has helped is breaking up my usual three meals into 5 a day, eating every 3 hours. I find this really helps to speed up my metabolism.
Tonight I weighed myself. Very high weight for me but I’m prepared to get down to 150, and then to my longterm goal of 135 lbs. I’ve been working out, but this was the first time I weighed myself. So for the next week, I’m going to work out at least 4 days of the week. I haven’t been watching my diet too well, so I need to start doing that more.
I’m 5’6 and am 21 years old.

Lowest weight: 120
