it’s only sept. 3rd (no testing this month, scores are being graded) and i think we need to wait another 2-4 more weeks for scores. i promised myself i’m not going to check scores cuz that would be pointless right now.
i can’t imagine those of you who have been waiting for almost 2 months!
i’m dying waiting! i wish so much that scores would be posted this week.

I’m feeling beyond normal nervousness. i know i can’t go into the exam like this but my heart won’t stop beating like 120-130 through out the day. that’s pretty much my resting heart beat.
i’m still half way through reviewing everything. that means i have only today to cover F5, F6, F7, F8-F9 :\
I just cannot wait to be finished though. me and everybody around me will be 20x more happier when i’m finished. i can’t wait till i can just veg out infront of the t.v. for a couple of hours watching Heroes season 2 :)

anybody have to deal drama with a significant other, kids, bosses before an exam and get super extra frustrated?
how do you handle? it always seems like just the few days up the exam, i’m already super stressed out but crap has to hit the fan. i just can’t get any peace and quiet to focus on the exam alone. i feel doomed!

do you guys take breaks from studying every hour, half hour, not until you’ve studied 5-8 hours straight?
Whenever I try to allocate the next 2-3 hours of studying, it seems like half of my time get wasted on distractions (sometimes this website is the culprit). Sometimes my mind wanders off, i’m shopping on the internet and before I know it, 30 mins has gone by.
i’m guessing this is why when I say i want to study for 7 hours this Sunday, i really only get about 3.5-4 hrs of actual study time.
Anybody relate? Anybody have any tips to be able to study like 3 hours straight without a distraction (whether self inflicted or not)?

ugh, i just cannot wake up early enough on sat. mornings. plus, it doesn’t help that i don’t cook. when i get my house, i’ll cook more often, which means i’ll buy groceries. at that point, i’ll go the farmer’s market and buy fresher produce :)

If I can do this 3-4 nights out of the week, consistently for about 3 weeks (i’m so easy on myself hehehe), i’ll take this off my list.
stop staying up late means going to sleep before 12 Mid on week 1, 11pm on week 2 and 10pm on week 3.
new year’s eve weekend is exempt :)

i need to do this. ive just simply always been a night person and cannot fall asleep until after mid. even if i lay in bed earlier in the night, i cannot fall asleep for another hour or something. i rarely do that though because there’s too many things to do that i cannot afford to waste time just waiting to fall asleep.
i finally bought an aromatherapy spray for your pillow to help you fall asleep. i can’t say it works but i did fall asleep quicker without so much tossing and turning after having a 15-hr day. i guess i’ll have to go to sleep really early tonight and see if it works.

interestingly, the passing rates go up with each quarter. maybe they get more lenient during the summer :)

Does anybody know this or can confirm this?
If you calculate/input the wrong numbers on one tab of the simulation and carry that number over to the next tab but correctly perform a calculation (based on the wrong number) if they will give you points for the correct calculation?
For example (REG / M-1), you calculate the incorrect taxable income from the book income and continue to use the incorrect number to correctly calcuate… im sure you’ll get dinged for the incorrect number but im not sure about the formula/calculation.
Thanks in advance :)

sooooooooooooooooo worth it :) so incredibly beautiful
so glad i got to share the experience with my wonderful boyfriend and really awesome friends from work :)
the $ is worth it. the culture. the experience. i’d much rather spend $60 on this (got a 50% discount!!!) than on ALCOHOL and slowly kill my brain :\

im on my way to irvine to put an offer on a townhouse :) it’s just like my first townhouse which will be so nice because i loved my first home :)
if it doesn’t work out, i am promising myself i won’t be disappointed b/c everything happens for a reason, or it happens as it’s supposed to in your life. i didn’t expect it to happen again so soon since i’m still studying for the CPA exam but i guess as long as I passed one part, i’m good! :) but it is definitely a big distractor.
if it doesn’t happen this month, i wont be sad… i’ll try not to be sad…besides I am going to be out of the country for 2 months, i might as well buy when i come back.
i just hate the expectation turned into disappointment but not gonna happen. have ot focus on studying and keeping my job :)
at least i’ll have this entry to document as i go :)

a date has finally been set. I am planning to fly directly to Peru after leaving Hyberadad, India and meeting up with my friends/coworkers. I’d like to make it a once in a lifetime experience by hiking my way up and sleeping under the stars but i wonder if it’ll be too much.
anybody have any recommendations on logistics?

Best $$$ spent in Paris (next to my ticket for Musee d’Orsay). Worth every minute. An experience everybody should have. Must come with an open mind, not some prudish narrow mind.
