It’s so much easier to read my Bible when I’m Episcopalian! I guess that, for me, my former church was toxic. I’m not very consistent every day yet, but I’m getting there. I love the Psalms!

Last week I spent an exorbitant amount of money buying a membership to a gym (with a pool!) that is across from my workplace. I went on Monday (didn’t have time yesterday with everything I’ve been trying to get done) and loved it. I’ve come up with a bunch of thing that will make it easier for me to go and work out- like bringing my lunch to school with me, and a plastic bag and towel in my bag for my swimsuit, stuff like that. I’ve got an appointment with a personal trainer (I bought the sessions!) to help me for the first 3 months. I am going to do this! They’ve got a bunch of elliptical runners, and yoga and pilates classes!
And I’m really thrilled about the pool… I should have gotten a membership like this years ago.
because I need to rethink it. And it’s driving me up the wall. I’ve had a ton of junk going on in my life, and therefore reading hasn’t been my top priority. But it IS important to me, there has been improvement in my reading habits, and I did stretch myself and read some new things, and so I’m going to re-add this as the goal “track what I read”.
Onward and upward.
