Today I had a wonderful run, despite a freak wind that blew in a rainstorm while I was pounding the pavement. I love the feeling of strength, of breathing, of my body working in harmony. When I started running, triathalon was not my be-all, end-all goal. I just wanted to run for the joy of it. I wanted to be healthy and have endurance. Because, truth be told, I’m not huge into competition. I like my working out solo best, because it allows me to unwind and recharge my mind as well as my body. Nonetheless, I think I may check out the athletic events taking place around my new home, and perhaps have a sit-down with a trainer.

Even if my eyes are the only ones that ever see it.

I’ve been writing non-fiction and fiction since I was wee, and I love to read. I’ve often thought I could find a voice in literature. Even if I key the novel that lives exclusively in my laptop, or pen the short that gets buried in a tattered notebook, I’d like to spin a yarn from start to finish, and fall in love with the lives of characters that are my own and no one else’s.

but don’t always succeed in my mission to be ever-thoughtful and nice. Sometimes, I get irritated to quickly, and that rapidly leads to me being irritated with myself. It’s a difficult cycle I’d very much like to escape.
