I have great will-power, so exercising for me is going to come down to chosing to either do it or not. To be lazy or not to be lazy, that is my problem.
I started college this year and decided it was time to actually get in shape. I’ve done diets, I’ve seen my weight fluctuate from 125 lbs to nearly 190 and every where between. I’ve done very unhealthy things to lose weight, but always, I end up paying the price when my weight actually goes UP eventually. Alas, no more!
This past week, after returning to school from break, I’ve been eating vegetarian. Lots of veggies, lots of milk, lots of rice. No desert, AND NO SODA. Not even diet. Breakfast is now mandatory for me, as I know for a fact that when I do not eat breakfast, my daily caloric intake is actually HIGHER than when I do eat breakfast.
I’ve spent nearly an average of an hour and a half at the gym daily this past week, spending another thirty minutes or so on weight machines every other day. For cardio, I bike, use the eliptical, and if I’m really energized, I’ll jog on the treadmill.
I feel less stressed, more flexible, and yes, thinner already. Just in the stomach area.
Right now, I’m 5’6 at 175. I would like to ideally be 130, but 145 by summer is my intitial goal. Honestly though, the numbers aren’t what I’m mostly concerned about. I want to look better, feel better, and live life better. I can do it, and so can you!
