How I did it: I realised that I had to live in the now, and that my being happy was up to ME - no-one else. There was a quote from the movie 'The Shawshank Redemption' that kept playing over and over in my head: "I guess it comes down to a simple choice, really - get busy living, or get busy dying.' How I did it: I sucked up my shyness, took a big step outside of my comfort zone, and joined a meetup group. Having the same interest in common with other people, and getting out there and doing it together makes for good friendships. Read how I did it…
There’s a rumor going around that there are some more cheer post-its on the way…? :p
A HAPPY birthday!
Hope it’s a good one, Matt!
