i am finished. I wrote my last exam as an undergraduate in October, and got my results last week. But I think letting go of the idea of myself as a student (though it’s an idea I have never been especially attached to) is part of the process. There aren’t so many things anymore I can point to as evidence of being young. Now there’s one fewer. I think I’ll go to my graduation in May, and have a big party, and mark it as a rite of passage. Then I’ll be done.
