I am running for public office! I took out papers, got 20 signatures, and am blogging:http://www.jasonwong.org about the the entire race process. The SFDCCC is the representative arm of the Democratic Party in San Francisco, and pretty much the first office you can run for – there are 12 positions on either side of the city. It’s an incredible process, from endorsements, to hitting the supermarkets, getting your mailers out, raising money. 7 days left, so wish me luck! Even better, if you live in SF, vote for me!

There are a LOT of sites that have the word Jason Wong, so it was a bit of an effort. I get about 20 visitors a week who find me through Google. The strange thing is that people know you more than you’d expect them to. Complete strangers, and sometimes salespeople, which can be a bit disconcerting.


Now that I’m using my blog as the homepage for my SF DCCC race, it’s extremely helpful to have the number one ranking as a marketing tool.

I haven’t logged in, in a while, but I am now the first search for Jason Wong under Google. Had my friends link to me, as well as my company – http://www.i5labs.com, since it’s the source for all things i5labs.
