the beginning

So, now I have a gym membership, and I’m starting to eat healthier. I just started tho, so no immediate results other than feeling better in general when I do work out!
I’m gonna be brutally honest here… right now, I’m 5’10’’ and I weigh 215 with clothes on… my goal is 165… so that’s 40lbs. I’ve totally done it before, so I know I can do it, its just a matter of gettin there.

Wow. I forgot all about this website till recently, and now I know why. I did start working for FedEx/Kinkos, but had to quit soon after. Then I went back to 7-11… But, now, finally, I have a new job working as the asst. mgr. of Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Company. I can’t do it forever, but its much better than 7-11, for sure. Altho, ironically, I live two houses down from that 7-11 now.

So, I’m redoubling my efforts here. I managed to go two days with no smoking, and last night I drank beer, and had a whole damn pack. I suppose drinking is off the table for a while…
Haven’t had one today yet, though. I suppose I’ll have to not let cheating be an excuse to keep doing it. One thing that’s really effective, I’ve found, is that I only focus on times I usually smoke, and tell myself: just this time, I WON’T smoke. That way I’m not overwhelmed by the fact that I’m trying not to ever smoke again.
