I’d like to learn some sort of martial art, some sort of hand to hand combat and maybe some style that includes Asian weapons of some sort. I think it would be fun and an awesome way to keep in shape. There are a few programs around here, but they all cost money….

I did sport fencing training for a few months in late 2005 and LOVED it, but had to stop due to financial reasons. I’d really like to be in a financially secure position so I can do it again.



lose weight
Update. 2 months ago

I’ve lost around 50 pounds since about this time last year, according to a nurse I spoke to. I went to a restaurant the other day, that I had not been to in a while, and the server, who had known me from when I went there a lot before, said; “You’ve become thin!”

I’m not done yet, though!
