i’m less than 2.5 years from the ripe old age of 30, and I still haven’t learned to swim! friends have offered, but i’m way too embarrassed to let them teach me. I attempted group lessons once, but I didn’t do well.
i’m going to try for private lessons, but the Y schedule doesn’t work with my own schedule. :(
hoping that once I have my “swimsuit body,” I’ll be a little more confident. part of my problem is that I’m self conscious about both my body AND the swimming (i’m scared to put my face down into the water).
gonna have to research other places to get lessons, i guess…

How I did it
How I did it: My husband and I had found a church a few months after we moved here almost two years ago. We went for Advent and Christmas and then jsut stopped going.
