The worst part is that when you do something that you can get arrested for you are giving up control of your life. Even if you end up getting off scot free you’ll be under their control at some point. During that period you’ll have no control over movement, activity, communication, even clothing if they make you put jail clothes on.

I was a wild young man and have made this trip too many times.

Best part: Once I called my brother from jail. He already knew I was there so he knew where I was calling from. When he got on the phone, I simply asked him:
What are you wearing?

Lots of people say, “Yeah I’ll go back after I _.” The problem is, all of the ___s come and go and you still don’t go back.

When I was 23 I got fired from the worst job I ever had. I was living with my fiance who never finished college and we were almost totally broke but we agreed that I needed to go back. My graduation date is 8 years after my high school graduation but it is a fait accompli.

My neighborhood has a large lake with bass and bream but I consider them rather nasty fish. Coarse, to use the European nomenclature. I can also walk to the state’s largest river, which is cold because the state’s largest dam is about 25 miles upstream and the water comes out of the bottom of the dam about 55F/13C degrees. So it can support stocked trout.

I usually fish flies and release my fish, but will occasionally take the spin rod to catch, kill and eat a trout. Mmmmm they’re tasty.
