I got my certificate when I was studying abroad in Malta, because I live in Nebraska and there is no place within even eight hours of my city that offers TEFL classes. I haven’t used it yet, but I’ll be studying abroad in Korea next year, and hopefully it will help me get higher paying tutoring jobs, and then I can use it to teach for real after I graduate school next August.
