It makes all the difference to get a small camera that you can take anywhere and fits inside almost any size purse. I’m so glad that I made the investment and I’m loving the shots I’m getting. I’m considering this accomplished, since I take with me everywhere I go.

How I did it: Slow and steady. Cut out fried food and started cooking on my own. Committed to specific days of the week for working out and did not get swayed even when others tempted me to do something else (go out to dinner, happy hour). Last weekend we headed off to West Seattle. I think I had been there only 2-3 times before always to someone’s house and always getting lost, but this time we went during the daylight hours. I can’t believe I’ve lived here so long and never been to Alki. It’s really cute, looks like a beach town of sorts which was very fun…and even though it was overcast, rainy and windy, very cool.
I was doing well for the first month of the plan, but then things sort of trailed off among other life events that came into play. But I had a serious talk with my roommate and we are now committing to each other to work out Mon., Wed, and either Friday or Saturday. By being accountable to those days, I’m hoping that we’ll be more motivated by each other and start seeing more consistent results. Around the food issue-I do pretty well during the week but on the weekends it totally goes out the window. I don’t want to limit myself because ultimately I want to be able to enjoy anything (in moderation of course), but I need to put some parameters on how often that is. ie, we can not eat out every night of the weekend. I’ll let you know how this goes.
