At the ripe old age of 36 I finally FINALLY finished my BA degree. I got a degree in Educational Studies as opposed to the traditional licensure programs that most teachers get. I did this because I was able to avoid the 6-month internship process. Internships are good for some people, but was unnecessary for me because I was already sure I knew what I wanted to do. I now hold a Professional Teaching Certificate in the state of Florida, I teach Algebra and Geometry at a brand new, beautiful public high school and I LOVE MY LIFE!

On March 17, 2007 (the day after my 34th birthday) I got a totally cool tatoo on my right leg above my ankle. It HURT, but it was worth every moment of pain! I LOVE IT and I wouldn’t change a thing about the experience!
Mike and I had a wonderful trip to NYC in July, 2006. We saw so many wonderful things! We went to the top of the Empire State Building and I GOT MY KISS! It was an awesome experience.
