Step in the right direction

It’s not exactly a reputable or prestigious magazine or anything, but I was able to get published in the campus literary magazine. It’s a start. I’m thinking I need to find a venue more suited to my style. I don’t fit in the current niche. Which is fine. I want to write well, but I don’t want to pander to corporate or “modern” tastes. Art should stand alone, unapologetic.
