Since I wrote this goal God has given us not one but two daughters. Just three weeks ago I gave birth to our second daughter at our home in WA state. My heart is so full! Our first daughter Guenevere is 13 months old now and she and the boys are loving having a new baby sister. It’s amazing how having both genders in your home really changes the family dynamic. We feel so blessed!

We love children. Our goal is to have as many children as God wants to give us. I honestly don’t know what that means, 2 or 20. I know it means at least 2 because we have two already.
The funny thing is that some people think we are crazy! Why would we want to subject ourselves to that? But we don’t know when God might decide to close my womb. I may never be able to get pregnant again. I think that in our culture we are so used to having everything right at our finger tips. And if it doesn’t come naturally then we can alter the means because we want it. It’s the same with babies. I am grateful that we live in a country that we have the freedom to have as many children as we want, but the way things are going and the way the church is being so silent about everything-that may not be the case down the road a ways. We have adapted to the worlds mentality that birth control is a given and slowly even abortion is ebbing it’s way into the common Christian’s viewpoints.
Some day we too may adobt the mentality of population control. So until then, we will keep having as many babies as God leads us to have. And people will think we are freaks, and we are okay with that-because we love our children. The funny thing is that the people who think we are freaks love our children too and they still think we are freaks! :)
We want our little men to know what chivalry is and to learn to honor their wives by practicing on their mother and sisters. We want to teach them to value women instead of use them. We want to raise men who are warriors and who will give their lives for truth, honor, and justice. We want our boys to bring a great dowry of character to their marriage and for the lady’s father to be glad to give him her hand in marriage because he is a man worthy of her heart.
We set the standard high and with God’s help our boys will meet the standard and fly past it!
