I have always loved photography, but never actually follow through these days with printing out my photos and displaying them. It’s time I surrounded myself with images of beauty, art, and the people that I love so dearly. Like a collage.

How I did it: I started looking just as soon as I knew I was free to leave my old apartment (wasn't in a lease there). I looked at anything and everything I could, even if I was only partially interested, to ensure that I would really know what I wanted. Then, I found the perfect little apartment with everything that I wanted and more, and it was available! So I put down a deposit, filled out the application, and started packing! … Read how I did it…
How I did it: A friend of mine who lives in Denver and I drove up into the mountains and went to a little town just past Granby called Hot Sulfur Springs. They have this little resort up there with 24 different hot springs. You just pay for the day and then can go from spring to spring and sit all day and just let the minerals soothe your skin and relax. Read how I did it…
Okay, so the tax refund thing didn’t really end up going into an emergency fund as much as it went towards a deposit for my NEW APARTMENT, but I have officially, as of yesterday, placed $515 into my emergency fund! I have also joined Dave Ramsey’s 14-week Financial Peace University to get some extra motivation! Woohoo! I’m on my way!
So with my tax refund, I’m able to put some money towards my emergency fund this weekend, and will be able to finish it off by next month! Woohoo!
