I woke up with my mind racing this morning thinking of all the problems we had at work yesterday and what could lie ahead for today. I was able to get it under control, which I am proud of, but I woke up two hours before my alarm went off, which obviously sucks. I need to get a good night sleep!!

I woke up two hours before my alarm went off with my mind racing. I was able to slow it down and get calm, but unable to go back to sleep. This is the second morning in a row I have woken up before my alarm because of this.
Thankfully I am not on edge today, but I have to do something about slowing down my subconcious when I am sleeping. I have a dr appointment today and I am hoping she will have some suggestions.
At any rate, here is to another anxiety free day!
I work for a large corporation which just bought another smaller corporation. Today was D day, in other words, here’s their software, have fun with it! It was hell. I spent the entire day putting out fires with our sales staff and inputting new customers. I didn’t get any of my regular work done.
As the questions and problems began to pile up, I KNEW that if I did not get them handled I would not be able to sleep tonight. I was finally able to get some answers by the end of the day and the rest I knew I had to let go when I walked out the door to head home.
I am feeling a little heavy from it all but I do think that I did a pretty good job leaving most of it at work. I am hoping tomorrow will be an easier day.
