I bought this before a recent trip to Tanzania, and all i can say is this was a life saver!! Other than the complications in loading songs onto the IPOD, it’s an incredible piece of machinery! Rock on!!

Okay, I didn't climb it, but.....

I have been to Tanzania a few times, and the last time I actually went to Kilamanjaro… the mama of the family I stayed grew up on Kilamanjaro, so we went to her village… had lunch literally in a village on the side of the mountain! It was so incredible… I kept thinking “I’m actually on Kilamanjaro”... but, after climbing Mt. Meru (a nearby mountain), I was in no way even attempting to climb that damn mountain… One of the brothers in the family I stay with is a porter on Kilamanjaro… he as the most incredible photos of his time on the mountain…
