April 2007 was National Poetry Month, so (when I found out, half-way through) I wrote a poem a day in April. Yay! Find them here: http://blogs.jhu.edu/jenny

Didn’t work out as planned, but yet seems the best working out of the plans I could have asked for. Hooray! PhD in 2010-2011!
...can’t believe I’m saying this: I hope for a new, other chance someday, even if that doesn’t work out either. I’m not sure I really “risked everything” but it feels like I did. I have been protecting myself from the love thing (the getting hurt thing), but it turns out, when you say everything you wanted to say, show all the love you wanted to show, and still it doesn’t work out, it actually feels not entirely bad. Who knows? Actually, what I mean to say is: Do you love someone? Does that person know it? If not, why not?
