I have been searching for a job that I feel passionate about, but it’s been such a process. This summer has been awesome cuz I found a job as an ESL instructor. 3 hours a day, M-F, for 6 weeks. I am hoping to take a trip to Romania after this, the ESL capital of the world.

Im reading all these “how i did it” stories and I think it will take me the rest of my life (or at least several years of this) to believe I’ve quit for real. It’s been over a month, the last cigarette was on August 29th at a wedding where the one I love basically dared me to quit right then and there. (He said that if I was seriously going to quit I would just do it, no setting dates) It might sound strange, but having this someone in my life has definitely inspired me to quit.
Also, I am keeping this high on my list of priorities because this site has helped me quit in the past, but when I cleared it from my list, I found myself smoking again. I dont crave cigarettes, but keeping it allows me to vent and keep up with others dealing with the same issues.
3rd day… no pulls. and I just jammed my finger in the dresser :( My secret inspiration is one special person in my life, when we dated 2 years ago I didnt smoke and he wasnt convinced when I told him on Friday that I would quit on Sunday, so right then I had my last cigarette. But honestly, I am doing this for myself and I am doing well… again…
