I had a journal in college that was titled “Happiness Is…” on the inside cover and here are some things I had listed:

- Waking up on a weekend in the fall, with my bedroom windows open, being able to cuddle under my blankets and know I don't have to get up
- Grilled cheese and french fries from the diner
- Drunken conversations with friends and strangers
- Hugs from my mom
- Seeing my dog when I come home after a long day
- Kindness from strangers
- Receiving a compliment without fishing for it
- Feeling pretty on a certain day
- Leaving the gym after a long, sweaty workout

I can honestly go on and on which is a good thing. There are so many little things in life I take for granted, as well as the entire population. I wish that when I have a bad day, I can think of some of these things and take comfort in them…

They put on an AMAZING show!! Ben Gibbard is great live and made my eyes tear during certain songs. And they did a great job of mixing old songs with newer ones. I was very impressed!

I saw TBS two years ago and it was a decent show but I was bit disappointed. I think the lead singer is somewhat of a tool and I hate the way he whips the mic cord around his neck. I would have enjoyed the show so much more if it wasn’t for that. As well as being able to have a beer (it was all ages and they would not serve alcohol due to the amount of underaged folks).
