I signed up for a running group about 1.5 months ago and I’m loving it! I’m up to 3.8 miles! There’s a little bit of walking in there ;) but I’m running too!! Hurray! My goal now is to run a 5K. I have until May so I think I’ll be good to absolutely run the entire way. There are different groups within the running group. We use the “Galloway Method” – run 1 min, walk 1 min…then there’s run 2 min, walk 1 min..and so on. Try it – you’ll be up and running in no time!

How I did it: I signed up with a running group so that I would have a committment and I went twice a week to the running group. I did what they advised and took care of myself while running and on our off days. I got up to 3.8 miles and was very proud. BUT I discovered I HATE running and would rather just work out in the gym. So, I'm back at the gym full time and when I want to run, I run ON THE TREADMILL Read how I did it…
How I did it: My husband had enough of the snooze button because he works every 3rd day as a firefighter and doesn't have to get up at the crack of dawn every day. I made the decision to wake up with the alarm clock and no snooze. I ask myself one question every morning - does that extra 10 minutes REALLY do anything for me? The answer is always no. I usually feel more tired after a snooze or two.... Read how I did it…
How I did it: I read Twilight in a few hours and then ran right out to Barnes & Noble to buy the next three. I couldn't put them down. I almost called out to work so that I could keep on reading! I stayed up late each night and didn't want to sleep! These books are fantastic! Read how I did it…

Halfway done! I painted the living room, dining room and hallway the palest of blues…it’s so comforting and relaxing! I love it. I painted the family room spiritual white…I think I bought that one for the master bedroom but made a mistake…and the master bedroom is painted a very pale lilac (thats what I think I picked for the family room, thank goodness I made the mistake and painted the bedroom w/this color!). Two more bedrooms and a bathroom…then I’m done! woo hooo!
