Finally!! 23 months ago

My 99 Kia Sportage just turned 9 years old..it had 90000 miles on it, the muffler was shot, the brakes needed work, the tires were bald, the stereo was on the fritz, and the passenger seat belt was locked.

So, Saturday I bought a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with only 26K miles. It is deluxe and I got a good price, and got good money for my trade-in. It is so nice to not have to worry about being stranded or huge repair expenses looming over my head!!

Being a part of the planning committee has put me in touch with a lot of people that I wanted to get in touch with. The Reunion is this August (2007), so that will be interesting.

I felt guilty seeing the stack of them on my dresser – for over a year now. Not good.
