  • Centered the tops of the posts
  • Tacked them in place
  • Bought a second four-foot level
Doing
  • Make sure the posts are plumb with a level
To Do
  • Tack the bottoms in place on their plinths
  • Determine a front edge line and trim the deck to it
  • Put lattice around the bottom

The weather is good now, but there are so many things to do.

It may not have been the best DVD, and I may not have “learned” it, but I use the little bit I know and benefit from it whenever I apply it.

It seems there is always room for improvement. But I can say that I understand the concepts at some level and apply them regularly and I have gained more from it then I spent implementing it.
