I’ve been playing guitar for a little more than 7 months and i consider myself to be pretty good. i know a few chords, but i haven t been using them cause of the fact it doesnt sound good with the music i like to play (in my own oppinion). If you just get a few lessons to start you off untill your used to it, then go on teaching yopurself its much easier. Also, if your a lefty guitarist and just starting, learn right handed first, right handed guitars ae cheaper and there is more of a chance they will have the one you were looking for. I was at a guitar center; they had probly about 200 guitars, i asked where the leftys were, they narrowed my options to seven guitars.
