I cancelled my cable,so now I only have one channel – CBC. Most of the shows I really liked to watch were on CBC anyway. I don’t miss all the other crap. I like Air Farce, 22 minutes, and (before they were cancelled) I watched Made in Canada and Red Green, now I like to watch Doctor Who. And Just for Laughs. But I don’t watch TV just for something to do anymore. If you’re bored, thereare plenty ofother more interesting things to do that to flip through the channels and watch something you would have neverwatched otherwise.

I’ve seen the Northern Lights twice. Once when I was travelling on the Greyhound from Jasper to Edmonton, and another time just outside my town when I was comming back from moose hunting. They’re gorgeous and surreal, it makes you feel really neat inside, like you’re part of something bigger, something fantastic, spiritual, romantic.
I’m 20 and I don’t feel like having zits anymore. I just have to start using that face cream I’ve got more often. It’s nasty stuff,it tastes really bad if you get i in your mouth and when you sweat it runs in your eyes and stings, and it gives your skin a gross feel, but it sure does work on zits. I have to stop picking at the zits too, though. I will dig craters in my face to get them out, and scabs are gross. I want to improve my appearance a bit, and this is a good way to start.
