It is so addicting!! I have lived in in New York for nine months, which I pretty much consider travel. I have also backpacked through Europe and a few years ago I went to Thailand. I frequently travel to CA where I go on road trips through the desert. This year, I went to New York for a week, and then to Virginia to see my sister and then to CA for a road trip. I want to go somewhere else now, but I am out of funds, heh.

I am one of those people who rarely leaves the house without the camera. I love photography, but I do wish I had more time to learn more about the technicalities, like how the camera works, etc. Eventually, I would love to learn to develop photos with old fashioned equipment. My father has everything used for dark room developing. Perhaps one day he will teach me. And yes, I have a flickr account, username jessiqua. :-)
It would be most useful for me professionally to learn Spanish, but I just want to learn ANY new language. What a shame that the United States educational system doesn’t requires its students to learn at least one other language. I think I was required to take two measely years of French or Spanish in high school (I chose French because it seemed so romantic, but my mom told me to take Spanish…oops.) Still, two years is NOT enough time to fully learn a language. Most countries have ongoing classes for students starting when they are very young. Our educational system is whack, plain and simple.
