Banana Republic isn’t “stylish” but they have good basics and a 25% off everything sale if you have one of their credit cards today. I bought three pairs of work-worthy trousers (which I have even brought to the dry cleaner for hemming so they will look nice and not sloppy) and a few cute tops. I also got my hair cut.

Now that I have a job offer
I went to jcrew and athleta and bought some basics. I know that’s not so “stylish” but I’m more about putting things together in a good way rather than labels or trends. I got two nice grey suits, a bright green merino sweater, a pair of kelly green hiking pants with a boot cut leg and a low yoke which should be flattering, and a slate gray short trenchcoat. I also went to zappos and bought a pair of cute ankle boots for under my trousers and a pair of ballet flats with rounded toes.
Some progress

I’ll be going back to work in about a week. Hopefully I will be inspired to do some good work there.
