So,
This was my goal, but then I injured my knee so now its more like 15-20 pounds. But, I’m starting with 10. Starting weight: 178.4
The surgeon has said that I can do the stationary bicycle now, so I’m going to go to the gym everyday and do that, take my dogs on walks, and lift weights. Also, I’m going to try eating vegetarian (well, kind of, because I think I’m going to eat fish still), and just focus on eating healthier and more at home/taking my lunch to work.
That’s the plan!
: )
And, it begins. I told two people I was thinking about it, one was very supportive (she was for 9 years and now is eating meat occasionally) and one thought I was nuts. Think I’ll declare it here, but just kind of stop eating meat and not make it a big declaration when I’m around other people. i.e., just don’t order something with meat. I read that vegetarians are on average 10-15 pounds lighter than meat eaters. I’m hoping that my LOVE of pasta will be enough to get me through-and I had an easy time figuring out vegetarian options at my favorite restaurants.
