This was one heck of an experience. To say the least my training begun two months before the race. I built in a three day a week workout program with the intention of completing a 21Km before the race day. I however only managed to go as far as 10 Kms in my training, Come race day, past 15Kms my body basically shut down, my legs ached and I ended up walking all the way to the finish line. I still got the finishers medal so yaye. I plan on running two more next year.
