Priest River (and a new boat!!) 1 month ago

Okay, first of all, I realized that my small playboat was preventing me from really getting anywhere with Class III water. It’s just so slicey, I was rolling everywhere. Plus, as small as it was (only 48 gallons), even a small breaking wave could topple me (and my bracing isn’t so great). So…..I got a new boat!! A solid river runner! Pyranha Ammo! Love it!

AND, I took it out on a class III section of the Priest River this weekend and totally rocked it. There were lots of big waves, and I just went right through them! And I was still able to catch micro-eddies and such. I am so happy with the new boat! Maybe big water will start to be more fun for me from now on.

Next Stop...Portugal! 2 months ago

Yes, that’s right! After doing Japan in 2008 and Denmark in 2009, I’ve decided to do a little trip to Potugal in 2010! So I am meeting my mark, that’s for sure. Hooray for adventure!!
