How I did it: I haven't actually achieved my dream environment, but I realized recently that we have lived in our new house since October and have had lots of company and I haven't yet had to do a "panic clean". (That's when you have procrastinated cleaning and the mess is so overwhelming you just stack and shove junk into closets and spare rooms and hope no one opens those doors...).I feel like my home reflects who I am. Learn about Constellations

I discovered a terrific resource in my quest to learn more constellations – the Neave Planetarium. You can wander around the sky and mouse over stars to see facts about the star or constellation. The only two I can ever identify with certainty are Orion and Cassiopeia so I’m going to use them as reference points for the rest.

Finish Illustrating My Children's Book
Finally sketching again! 9 months ago

I have been drawing like crazy lately, and I finally feel like I’m making some progress, with my characters starting to match the visions in that have been in my head over a decade.

I’m resisting the urge to order more “professional” illustration supplies, choosing rather to struggle through with a sketch pad and what pencils I have on hand. I’m going to make myself get every page at least sketched out to my liking before I proceed to the next step.
